Chateau de Fontainebleau. 2011
Outdoor Signage
The signs of the Château de Fontainebleau Created in collaboration with the Studio Des Signes Integrates into this historic place with modernity. It directs the public through 37 000 m2 of courtyards and gardens, as well as towards the museum's reception and informs about the events of the venue.
The orientation and information signage system is both very visible, but also perfectly integrated into this classified historical monument. Long, two-coloured banners punctuate the facades of the castle as great standards. Treated in soft cloth or printed bent metal, the signage marks the walls and the beds. The chromatic range, in line with the colors of the buildings (bricks, slates and stone sizes) plays on the contrast of the very readable orange from afar and slate grey.
