Mackintosh. Toulemonde Bochart

The mackintosh carpet with patchwork stripes is a design by the designer Florence Bourel for Toulemonde Bochart.

With the carpet Osaka, I follow my tour of the world of traditional motifs. I reinterpret the rigor and richness of Japanese graphics, with a faux patchwork of interlaced bands that evoke the obi knots of a kimono.

The California carpet plays on the contrast and profusion of colours in a rich composition that reflects the effervescence of the West Coast. The Foggy California carpet evokes the diffuse lights of the Los Angeles hills.
